Mokotjo believes Amakhosi are a team still adapting to coach Arthur Zwane’s ways and finding an identity, which shows in how they have set up this season.
He believes Chiefs could only hurt them if Babina Noko don’t control possession.
"With a team like Chiefs, they're a bit all over the place, but they're basically a transition[-based] team – that's the type of football they're playing at the moment," said Mokotjo.
"It's not like before, but we go into the game with confidence that our performances have been consistent, defensively and offensively, but when it comes to scoring, we just need to score a lot more goals because we create so many chances."
According to the 32-year-old, the duels in midfield will decide which way this DStv Premiership fixture will go.
"If you win the game in midfield, you win the game. But we'll focus on their entire team, and make sure that we stick to our plan," he added.
"Because we also have very individually gifted players, but if those gifted players fit into the team [then] they become even more dangerous."
The key to playing a team capable of springing surprises is to stick to what you know, Mokotjo insists.
"It looks very unpredictable at the moment, they could put up any structure, but I think we'll analyse them, analyse their strengths and individual players, and we'll stay consistent in what we're doing," concluded the former Brentford midfielder.
