Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda set to co-host 2024 CHAN

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda are set to co-host the 2024 African Nations Championship.

The CHAN tournament, which takes place every two years, was last hosted by Algeria and won by Senegal.

The trio of nations have already been granted the rights to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

They are now keen to host the upcoming competition if their stadiums are deemed to be up to standard.

President of the Council of East and Central African Football Associations Wallace Karia said on BBC: "Next year in September, we've been given the CHAN hosting rights in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

"We will ask CAF to group all the four teams of CECAFA in the draw to create the competition between us."
