The 32-year-old Trapp was linked to joining Bayern as a possible replacement for Manuel Neuer, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking a leg in a skying accident.
In an interview with Kicker, Trapp addressed the Bayern link, and stated: "As I have said many times in the 13 years of my professional career: When something like that comes up, it's a good sign because it's a confirmation of your performances," Trapp told Kicker.
"We know what kind of goalkeeper Manuel is... Accordingly, I haven't really dealt with it much. I read about it, of course, but we are in the middle of the season here."
Last summer, Trapp was also linked with a move to join Manchester United which never materialised.
"I rejected something in the summer because we still have something very nice planned here. That was it. I can't be held responsible for anything else that is written in the media. I didn't get too invested," Trapp explained
Kicker then asked Trapp if he had plans to extend his contract at Eintracht, he replied: "We are in talks, but there is no big pressure. Our relationship is good.
"I came here from Kaiserslautern and later came back from Paris - everyone knows how comfortable I feel here. The club is on a good path and we are taking the time everyone needs.
"We won't tell you now what will happen in the end. But we have good talks, we have a good exchange. Everyone knows what they want.
"The club is successful, the players here also want to be successful. If I can continue to be a part of that, then of course I'd love to," Trapp added.
