The result also condemns Amakhosi to a fourth defeat in nine league matches this season as the Soweto side sit in seventh place on the table.

The move paid dividends just before the hour mark when the two substitutes combined down the left and Gonzalez sent in a cross that Mayo headed into the back the of the net.
Keagan Dolly, Mduduzi Mdantsane and Ranga Chivaviro were introduced from the bench as Amakhosi looked to get back in the contest.
The Cape side however weathered the expected onslaught and took home all three points to compound Chiefs' problems.
