Kylian Mbappe's meteoric rise at Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe is thriving at Real Madrid, finding the back of the net with ease in both La Liga and the Champions League, leading the charge for the Blancos with his goal-scoring prowess.

The French forward has acknowledged the challenges of playing for Real Madrid, citing the immense pressure that surrounds the club.

"It's easy to say you dream of playing for Real Madrid, but there are players who, under the pressure, do not enjoy it," Mbappe said in the Prime Video documentary 'Real Madrid, como no te voy a querer'.

However, Mbappe has expressed that this pressure does not affect him adversely; rather, it fuels his performance. "I enjoy every part of the game, I feel the pressure and I like it because I need it to perform well, to play well, to make sacrifices for the team, for myself, in training, every day.

"I must feel this pressure, this love too, because all the affection I've received from Madrid fans from day one, and even before, has been incredible. But I also need this pressure to play, to enjoy my game and help the team as best I can with my skills," he added.

Mbappe marked his Real Madrid debut with a goal against Atalanta in the European Super Cup final, securing his first trophy with the club. "It was a big moment for me, for sure, and I hope we will win many more," the French striker stated.

After an initial period of adjustment to his new team, role, and even his position on the pitch, Mbappe has now hit his stride, scoring in every match.

His tally stands at 24 goals across all competitions this season, with 16 in La Liga where he is the second top scorer, trailing Robert Lewandowski by three goals.

He has also scored in the Copa del Rey (1), Spanish Super Cup (1), European Super Cup (1), Club World Cup (1), and Champions League (4).
