Despite back-to-back wins, the latest coming on Saturday afternoon in a hard fought 1-0 victory over Chippa United at the Buffalo City Stadium, the former Lesotho international believes log leaders and second placed Orlando Pirates are too far gone and in two-horse race for the championship.
Shaune Mogaila netted the only goal of the match to hand Sekhukhune all three points in East London.
Seema, however, says the best possible position is third.
"They've collected enough points, I think the gap is about 17 points, something like that and if you can start looking that far, we will have a lot of banana peels and it's not gonna be nice,” Seema said.
“One game at a time and our aim and what we want to do, we want to always try to improve a better position come the end of the season. 10 games to go, where we are it's not easy, the log is still very tight, and there are still a lot of games that are gonna be played.
“We are still also in the cup, if we are still there, I know there are lot of strokes there and when you read there, there are strokes and that stroke can take you out. So, you never know which one is in."
The coach was once again asked about his future with Eric Tinkler lined up as his replacement in the coming weeks.
"We take one game at a time. One thing that we want to see as Babina Noko, we always want to improve our last position where we finished. First season we finished on the 11th, seventh, fourth and now we are trying to push and see if we cannot better the position where we finished last season,” the coach added.
“I think I'm just happy that I'm pushing three, last time I left I was four, so I think those rumours will stop now. As Lehlohonolo Seema I practice CTC, control the controllables and what is controllable is my team and the technical team and making sure that we get points for the club.
“The other stuff really is out of my hands and the club hasn't made any statement saying anything, whether denying or agreeing, so those things like I'm saying, I cannot have control over. I just need to focus on the job at hand."
