Unlike their Premier Soccer League counterparts SuperSport United, who’ve failed to win any of their matches in the same competition so far, the Babina Noko mentor put up a brave face following a dull draw against Stade Malien at the weekend.
The visitors grabbed a crucial point to move up the table and, with Seema’s side having to travel to Mali in a week’s time and then to Congo for their final game, the coach says they have to be conservative.
"We are clear that now goals are going to come to party, but when we play away, we have to – if we have one goal – not go and want to score 10 goals," said Seema.
"Definitely, we'll go and score one and then we'll try and defend and try to get another one, but if not then let's stick to that one, we'll take it."
Seema cut a dejected figure following the stalemate at Peter Mokaba Stadium, but being level on four points with Malien should still give Sekhukhune some hope.
He believes their fate will be determined by their home fixture against log leaders RS Berkane of Morocco in February.
"Three points now are vital, and if we win by one goal then it's okay, especially when it's away [from home]. If we get one point away, we'll take it.
"But at home, that is where we are banking in our next game, we have to go all out. If we can come out of that game without scoring one, two, or three, then we'll know exactly that our chances [of reaching the knockout stages] are very slim."
