This round of 32 clash is one of a handful of fixtures pitting topflights side against one another.
Babina Noko would have been favourites against a lower league opposition, a tag Seema believes creates unnecessary pressure.
The coach insists that his charges will be better prepared – and perhaps even highly motivated – when they host City.
"I think it's always difficult to play a team that you don't know anything about and sometimes you struggle to find their footage. Playing against a Premier League [team] doesn't make it easy but it makes it better to prepare because it's a team that is always on TV where you can find the footage, where you can get some of the patterns or things that are happening continuously in their team,” Seema said.
“Coming to Cape Town City it's a very difficult one since the coach is one of the experienced coaches that they've got, [since he] arrived they've been getting good results. So, we are really up for it."
Seema adds that there’s an appetite for trophies at Sekhukhune, who recruited some quality players this season.
The Nedbank Cup remains a target for both the coach and the club.
"As a team we haven't won the league and the cup, last time we tasted that was when we won the Championship [Motsepe Foundation] coming to the Premier League. So, whenever we are going to a cup competition, we want to make sure that we are in it to win it,” he added.
“I as a person also haven't gotten a gold medal as a coach so the club and me and the technical members in the exception of coach Kaitano [Tembo], he has tasted them but we are in it to win it.
“We are gonna do our best, we really wanna win. Like you are saying, it's gonna be five difficult games but we'll always want to go there and win it."
