Despite the recent result, Khenyeza says he believes his team is motivated to do better in the Nedbank Cup.

Arrows will face TS Galaxy again on Friday in their Nedbank Cup round of 32 fixture. Speaking with SABC Sport during the Nedbank Cup presser, on Tuesday, Khenyeza spoke about his challenges and the lessons he is picking up as a young coach.

''So much is building me up, just dealing with different situations. I have learned to remain positive as a leader, I'm also grateful for the support from the management.’’

“The position we find ourselves in is teaching me a lot, what I am learning now is preparing me for the path I am taking as a coach,'' said Khenyeza.

Golden Arrows has not tasted a win in five league matches, putting pressure on Khenyeza in the last quarter of the league. However, the former striker wants his charges to go all out in all their upcoming games.

''Every game is important, even cup competitions are important. The boys need to go all out for the team to succeed,'' added Khenyenza.

Golden Arrows is not only hosting a TS Galaxy which outsmarted them last weekend in the league, but a team that also knocked them out in the same competition in 2019.

''We tried all we could this past Sunday, but it wasn't to be. Looking at the upcoming Nedbank Cup clash, we have to get revenge,'' he concluded.

KZN teams have struggled to deliver when it matters the most, in cup competitions. The former striker has come out to defend his home team.

Khenyeza says they have not dropped, the only thing is that - people love Johannesburg teams and want to compare them with KZN teams.
