Man City newcomer Savinho returns to training after injury

Manchester City's 20-year-old star, Savinho, has made a notable return to the squad's training pitch following a suspected knee injury.

The young Brazilian joined City from ES Troyes for £21million and made an impressive debut in the FA Community Shield against Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.

Savinho's first start for City came in their 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Unfortunately, he had to be substituted at half-time due to the knee injury, which also caused him to miss the subsequent trip to West Ham. City's match against the Hammers saw Erling Haaland score a hat-trick in a 3-1 win.

However, Savinho's recovery has been swift. He featured in City's 4-1 triumph over Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium, contributing significantly by winning a penalty and assisting Kevin De Bruyne's goal.

The young talent has now returned to full training at the City Football Academy, where he has been working alongside midfielder Matheus Nunes.

Savinho is expected to be available for City's upcoming Premier League clash against Brentford this weekend and their UEFA Champions League fixture against Inter Milan next Wednesday.
