Despite Marmoush having nearly three years remaining on his contract, Frankfurt are reportedly open to a sale if they receive the right offer. Several clubs are said to be interested in the in-form Egyptian star, according to KingFut.com.
According to a report from Sky Sports, Manchester City officials have already held meetings with Marmoush's representatives in recent weeks.
The proposed deal reportedly includes a five-year contract starting on July 1, 2025. However, a January transfer is considered unlikely, despite City manager Pep Guardiola's need for attacking reinforcements.
Preliminary talks between Manchester City, Marmoush, and his representatives have already taken place. The Egyptian forward is seen as a potential replacement for Julian Alvarez, who joined Atletico Madrid during the off-season.
While City is pushing for a deal, Eintracht Frankfurt is reluctant to let Marmoush leave in January without securing a suitable replacement. Reports suggest that the German club is holding firm on their â¬60 million valuation of the forward.
Although earlier rumors linked Marmoush with Liverpool, the 24-year-old is reportedly keen on joining Manchester City. The English champions are expected to pay a substantial fee to secure his services, either in the summer or beyond.
Marmoush has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 13 Bundesliga goals, just one fewer than Bayern Munich's Harry Kane. His exceptional performances have solidified Manchester City's interest in bringing him to the Etihad.
With several clubs likely monitoring the situation during the upcoming transfer windows, Marmoush's future remains one of the most intriguing stories of this transfer cycle.
