Following Wednesday's squad announcement at the SABC Sport studios in Auckland Park, Broos told the media he had not selected Chiefs players due to the club’s struggles on the pitch.
However, Ntseki responded and accused the Belgian of having never shared “a template” of his requirements or expectations of players to be considered for the national team – something the Amakhosi boss says he did when he was in charge of Bafana.
"Firstly, I was a Bafana Bafana coach and I gave respect to all the coaches [and] all the clubs. You select players based on your approach to the game and on their ability that you want to bring to the game," Ntseki responded at a press conference on Thursday.
"I think if ever he doesn't see any of the Kaizer Chiefs players helping him out, it's a choice. Unfortunately, we haven't received any template from anybody to say, 'If you want your players to be in the national team, these are the things to work out.'
"Whatever he said, unfortunately I can't comment because I'm a Kaizer Chiefs coach and he's the Bafana Bafana coach."
In his initial 36-man preliminary squad for two international friendlies against Namibia and Dr Congo, Broos named three Chiefs players in defenders Sifiso Hlanti and Given Msimango, as well as forward Pule Mmodi.
However, none made it into his final 23-man squad, with the 72-year-old clear that no players from Naturena deserved to be in his final selection.
"For the moment, Kaizer Chiefs is still Kaizer Chiefs of last year. They have a lot of new players, and maybe that's the reason they don't achieve the level they need to," said Broos.
"They are still many points behind [Mamelodi] Sundowns, and I said it last year, for any competition, it's important that the top teams are in the top of the [league] ranking.
"Okay, Pirates won yesterday so there's only – what – five points difference, I think, between them and Sundowns? With Kaizer Chiefs, it's eight points, I think? This is too much.
"Only five games and already you're eight points behind the first-placed team, and it's not a small team that's first hey. So, yes, Chiefs have to improve.
"When I saw the game last Saturday [against AmaZulu], I was at the game – Ja, I'm very sorry but for the moment thare's no player who deserves to be a Bafana Bafana player."
