The veteran Danish administrator, who arrived at Chloorkop in April last year, spoke to SABC Sport to reflect on Sundowns Ladies winning the CAF Champions League last weekend on the back of the men also clinching the inaugural African Football League.
Berg insists there’s more to come.
"That's the thing about being at Mamelodi Sundowns – the ambition is to win everything, and to become the best team in all aspects," said Berg.
"So that means not only winning the Women's Champions League, which is a fantastic achievement and big congratulations, and the African Football League, but also being the best team in academy sides.
"The girls academy has the best academy in South Africa and Africa, and eventually [the aim is to become the best] in the entire world."
Since his appointment, the former Chelsea international scout and Danish FA talent development manager has also seen coach Rulani Mokwena and Jerry Tshabalala’s charges defend their respective domestic league titles.
Berg adds there’s room for more as their rivals play catch up.
"For us, what it really comes down to is that everyone works towards the same goals, the same ambition, with the same vision but also hunger," he added.
"This club next year will not say, 'What now, we are the champions of Africa, what is the next?' No, they will go and win next year, and try to win the league with an even bigger margin.
"So, it's a fantastic achievement, but one thing we're 100 percent sure of in Mamelodi Sundowns, it's never enough."
