September confirmed Mammila’s return, which he
"Ja, we came to fetch Morgs here in Polokwane because he's from this side, so the plan was arranged before the game, and he couldn't sit on the bench against Polokwane City, but we were always communicating about how he can help us," said September.
"We're happy that he came back to give his advice, so he's going to play a big role, especially on the technical side, and of course off the field he's a good group manager.
"I think he helps us in terms of managing the team and getting us into good fluidity, so it's good to have him back."
This is Mammila’s third stint with the club, having previously held the CEO, head coach, technical director and assistant coach roles, while Mabhuti Khenyeza remains the first assistant coach.
Chippa this weekend resume their traveling programme with a short trip to Mbombela for a meeting with TS Galaxy, and September says the extended travels augurs well for their bonding.
"We're going to TS Galaxy and have to come back to Kaizer Chiefs for the Nedbank Cup, and then we have to go to Cape Town City, so we're not going to be home," he added.
"It's good when we are on the road, to have the spirit in the group up, so the win gives us that, and it also helps us as a technical team – it was our first win in the league since we started as the new technical team.
"So it gives us also the belief that what we are doing is working, we just need to be patient and build on it, so this victory is really good for the whole group, the club, the players, and the technical staff."
