Swallows were busy in the market as they brought in 12 new players following the appointment of Komphela in July.
The coach was cautious over his remarks when asked about areas of concern.
"Yes, we do have a good team. We have trust, we have confidence, we believe in this team but you never stop searching and looking. I think without sending a message to the team because if you say we need maybe a centre-back or you need a striker, players are going to read the comment and whoever plays in that position starts thinking 'Ha am I not enough," Komphela said.
Komphela adds that a left-sided centre-back would be ideal if ever chairman David Mogashoa gives the greenlight.
"Unfortunately, Keegan Allan is still injured, had a fracture, and should be back in no time. If we had possibilities to go crazy, where would it be? I think we need to be stronger on the left side of our defence. Vusi [Sibiya] is doing well, he's okay but you need another player who can help him as well," the coach explained.
The window closing on Friday doesn’t mean clubs cannot keep signing, with Komphela pointing out the availability of free agents.
"But we are not desperate to say we need desperately a centre-back or a striker but we keep searching and as soon as the window closes, we still have an opportunity for those who are free. There are a lot of good players who will be coming on a free transfer."
