This comes after the draw pitted them against Royal AM or Milford, who are the only sides yet to have played their Round of 32 fixture.
The Premier Soccer League have been mum over Thwihli Thwahla’s fate in the tournament, after their Betway Premiership fixtures were suspended indefinitely, owing to their challenges with SARS.
Babina Noko veteran defender Daniel Cardoso says they will have to wait and see on the identity of their last 16 opponents.
"You can't really put focus onto any of them [Royal AM or Milford FC] as yet because we don't know who we're playing," bemoaned Cardoso.
"Hopefully by the end of the week they'll know what's happening and the case has been resolved and all of that, but we'll have to wait and see who we play and then start studying them once the results are out."
The next round of cup fixtures are scheduled for 12-16 February, with dates, times and venues still to be confirmed by The League.
Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns are up against the only remaining amateur side in the Mpheni Home Defenders from Limpopo, and, after seeing off another ABC Motsepe League side in the last 32, defender Mothobi Mvala says they can’t look down on such teams.
"I think it's a good draw, but I don't understand what you mean when you say it's kind to us. But, for me, it's difficult to play against a lower division team," said Mvala.
"Because they know a lot about us, and it's not easy to plan against then, but I believe we will get the necessary information about them as time goes by and I think we will have a very good game – what's nice is that we're playing at home."
