The Buccaneers stole the show, with representatives winning eight of the 13 top categories, including five of the eight DStv Premiership honours.
Patrick Maswanganyi was the top winner, winning three awards, followed by teammate Relebohile Mofokeng picking up two accolades in a season which saw the pair help Pirates to a cup double and second place in the league.
Mamelodi Sundowns' league success, however, saw Ronwen Williams pick up the biggest honour of the night, as voted for by the 16 DStv Premiership club head coaches.
As predicted, Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena also bagged the Coach of the Season gong after guiding The Brazilians to a historic campaign, in which they registered a record number of points in a 30-game season.
