Should Kylian Mbappe depart PSG this summer, Napoli's Victor Osimhen is reportedly their main transfer objective.
Mbappe has openly stated his intention to leave PSG on a free transfer when his contract expires in June 2024. However, PSG aim to sell him this summer if he does not agree to a new deal with the club.
The latest edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, published on Sunday, confirms that the Nigeria international will be PSG's primary target should Mbappe leave.
Journalist Maurizio Nicita, in the newspaper's sixth page, reveals that Napoli have already turned down a ¬100m bid from PSG and have set their asking price at ¬180m.
If Mbappe's summer transfer materialises, it will further bolster PSG's finances, potentially enabling them to meet Napoli's demands.
Despite the interest from PSG, Napoli remain optimistic about extending Osimhen's contract beyond 2025, and they reportedly maintain a good relationship with the player's agent, Roberto Calenda.
As per the report, if Osimhen departs, Lille forward Jonathan David is Napoli's primary target.
