Paulo Futre: Man Utd's Bruno Fernandes is a 'great player'

Futre, who had an illustrious career with clubs like Atletico Madrid and West Ham United, expressed his deep respect for the Reds and their rich history.

The interview saw Fernandes, alongside fellow Portuguese teammate Diogo Dalot, discuss their journeys with Manchester United and their hopes for the future.

Futre, known for his honest and insightful commentary, praised Fernandes for his leadership on the pitch and his impact on the team since joining the club - and for the way in which he has continued to shine on the pitch for the Red Devils during a very challenging season.

"Bruno is a great person and a great player," said Futre, according to the club's official website.

"He is a great example to all Portuguese players.

"He leads the team and hates to lose. And he can decide a match.

"It is difficult currently [for United] but I really want him to succeed - and the same with Ruben and Diogo."
