Despite this poor run of form, sporting director Marc Lettau has backed head coach Peter Zeidler to stay in charge, emphasizing that there will be no immediate change.
Zeidler, who took over from Thomas Letsch at the start of the season, has yet to record a win in six matches, with Bochum registering just one draw and five losses.
However, Lettau dismissed speculation about the coach's future, stating, "I won't be having the discussion about the coach today, also not tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
"We'll only consider changes if the team is completely failing."
Bochum are hoping to use the upcoming international break to recalibrate and build momentum.
They have arranged a high-profile friendly against recently relegated 2. Bundesliga side 1. FC Koln, scheduled for Thursday.
The fixture is seen as an opportunity for Zeidler to iron out tactical issues and rebuild confidence within the squad.
Bochum's struggles aren't unfamiliar, as the team failed to secure their first win last season until the tenth matchday.
The club hopes to avoid a repeat, with this friendly seen as a key moment in turning their season around.
