In the final 20 minutes, Ntlonelo Bomelo sealed the victory with a volley after an assist from Keegan Allan.
New signing Mduduzi Mdantsane made his debut late in the match, while City's Monty Batlhabane came close to scoring but failed to find the target.
With the win, Richards Bay climbed to 12th on the table, while Polokwane City remained in third place.
TS Galaxy 0-0 Chippa United

Chippa started strong, with Thabang Malaoa and Bienvenu Eva Nga both going close early on, while Galaxy grew into the game as Keagan Dolly forced a save before half-time.
Chippa continued to threaten in the second half but struggled with their finishing. Galaxy responded by bringing on fresh legs, and the pressure paid off in the final ten minutes when Damir Sovsic struck from outside the box after a corner, beating Stanley Nwabali to give Galaxy the lead.
Chippa pushed hard for a late equalizer, but Galaxy's defense held firm to secure the victory, moving them up to seventh in the standings while Chippa remained in mid-table.
