In form Rangers has reached the final of the Europa League; to what their captain James Tavernier described as a "dream come true" after beating RB Leipzig 3-1, Thursday at Ibrox Stadium.

Tavernier did not waste as he perfectly timed his run to convert Ryan Kent's cross into a beautiful goal that placed his side on a lead in 18 minutes.

Teammate, Glen Kamara solidify their lead in 24 minutes. However Christopher Nkunku hit back for Leipzig in the second half.

The Germans undeniable enjoyed the majority of the ball after half-time break, but John Lundstram spoiled the fun when he scored the last goal in 80 minutes.

Tavernier dedicated his goal and the victory to their late long serving kit manager Jimmy Bell who took his last breath Tuesday.

"We wanted to do it for Jimmy. I'm super proud of all the effort the players, staff, fans put in today. He will be looking down proud of us," said emotional Tavernier.

The Glasgow giants will be playing their second European final in 50 years when they face Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville on the 18th of May.

The talented right back refered to the upcoming moment as "what you dream of" as a footballer.

"We'll go there full of confidence. Frankfurt got there for a reason, but it's one game and we'll fully back ourselves. We're in this competition to win it." said Tavernier
