Report: Barcelona's Ansu Fati draws interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham

Fati's standing within Barcelona has declined over the past few seasons due to a series of injury setbacks, and recently he was bypassed by 16-year-old Lamine Yamal, as chosen by head coach Xavi.

Amidst Barcelona's delicate financial situation, the club have been striving to transfer some of their peripheral players to enhance their market flexibility prior to the transfer deadline.

Their efforts include attempting to secure Joao Cancelo on an initial loan from Manchester City and considering Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix as a potential addition.

Ansu Fati is among the players Barcelona could part ways with to alleviate their wage bill. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has communicated to leading European clubs that the winger is open to a transfer before the deadline.

Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and even Aston Villa, have been alerted to this situation. Nonetheless, there exists an element of uncertainty regarding Fati's willingness to leave Barcelona.

Arsenal, who have qualified for the Champions League this season after a six-year hiatus, are seeking additional attacking depth.

Tottenham, their North London rivals, are on the lookout for a wide player. They are currently leading the pursuit of Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson.

Jota, who previously worked under head coach Ange Postecoglou at Celtic, is also being considered as an option.
