Report: Bayer Leverkusen target Almeria starlet Sergio Arribas

However, there's a possibility that his exit could occur as early as January, intensifying the challenges for Almeria.

According to reports from MD, Bayer Leverkusen, led by Xabi Alonso, has expressed interest in acquiring Arribas and could make a move during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The Bundesliga leaders had shown interest in the young midfielder during the summer before he opted for Almeria.

With Almeria grappling with La Liga struggles, Leverkusen might exploit the situation to secure Arribas' services.
