The Bundesliga side announced the news on Friday, locking in a player who had become a key figure in their recent success.
Andrich, who joined Leverkusen in 2021, was a vital part of the squad last season, scoring six goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
The 29-year-old German has established himself as a midfield leader, with his blend of physicality and technical ability making him an asset both domestically and in Europe.
Reflecting on his journey, Andrich said: "I am experiencing the most successful time of my career, and Leverkusen is absolutely the right place for me.
"The hunger of the team is still strong after this special season, and I'm looking forward to continuing on this path with my teammates and our fantastic fans."
Leverkusen's managing director of sport, Simon Rolfes, highlighted Andrich's influence: "Robert Andrich has developed into one of the central pillars of our team and has performed outstandingly on the international stage.
"His recent appearances for the German national team at the European Championship demonstrate how far he has come."
Since making his Bundesliga debut, Andrich has featured in 142 matches, winning 71 of them and scoring 16 goals. He has played 83 matches for Leverkusen, contributing 10 goals during his time at the club.
Despite interest from the English Premier League, Leverkusen opted to extend Andrich's contract, underlining his importance to the team as they aim to build on their recent DFB-Pokal triumph and future ambitions on both domestic and European fronts.
