The Chilli Boys dropped all three points in their own backyard against Sekhukhune United at the Buffalo City Stadium at the weekend, losing 1-0 to drop out of the top eight with 13 matches to go.
September immediately raised concerns about his team’s failure to build on the momentum from having beaten Cape Town City a few days earlier.
He is now eager to pick up the pieces away to The Natal Rich Boys on Saturday at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
"That's one thing that we've been doing well, it's the bouncing back, it's just the consistency but the bouncing back we have been doing that. I think probably only two times this season where after losing a game, we lost a game but we've been doing well,” September said.
“We look forward now to playing a Richards Bay that also has picked up and are playing good football, good speed. So, we look forward to doing well when we play them."
September has also recently made some tactical switches by giving utility player Sirgio Kammies a different role.
"Kammies has been playing in three games now since Magesi, I think he started playing in the middle. Ndlovu even last year he played as a right back. When we lost to Chiefs Chabalala was playing as a right back, he's growing in that position,” he explained.
“All you need is to give players confidence and the ability will take over. We believe in them, that's why we put them in those positions so they can help the team."
