Troost-Ekong: Osimhen is the best striker in the world right now

Osimhen has been sensational for Napoli this season, as he has scored 19 goals and provided five assists in 22 Serie A appearances.

The 24-year-old's success in the final third has helped Napoli open a dominant 18-point lead at the top of the Serie A standings, and Troost-Ekong hopes to see his compatriot lift the Scudetto.

"Osimhen is probably the best striker in the world right now. I am happy for him because he has overcome difficult moments," Troost-Ekong said.

"It's a very important year for him, he can win the Scudetto, and then he'll be able to think about the future."
