Victor Osimhen commits to Napoli with new deal

The 24-year-old has excelled during his time with the club in Serie A since his switch from Lille in 2020.

Osimhen netted 31 goals in all competitions last season to help Napoli win their first league title in 33 years.

This term he has eight in 18, with three assists.

He was recently named the Italian footballers' association player of the year and has now been offered a new contract with the Italian club.

Napoli confirmed the news with a post on social media that read: "Victor & Napoli together until 2026".

Osimhen was also named as the African Footballer of the Year for 2023.
