Vincent Kompany 'satisfied' with Bayern Munich's win over PSG

The result propelled the German giants to nine points in the group stage.

Bayern's head coach, Vincent Kompany, expressed satisfaction with his team's overall performance but felt there was room for improvement.

"Of course I'm satisfied," Kompany told Prime Video.

"Our pressing in the first half was very good. The discipline was there. We could have scored one or two more goals, but the result is good."

On the other side, PSG's head coach, Luis Enrique, surprised many with his tactical decision to start with four natural central midfielders and no traditional striker.

The approach aligned with Paris's recent strategy of playing without a focal point up front, a move Kompany had anticipated.

Despite their efforts, PSG struggled to break through Bayern's disciplined defence, leaving Enrique to reflect on the match and prepare for their next group-stage challenge.

For Bayern Munich, the victory builds momentum as they turn their attention back to domestic duties.

The Bavarian side faces a significant Bundesliga fixture against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, where they will look to carry their Champions League form into the league.
