Barca have a plethora of sidelined players but one positive is that Raphinha should be fit in time for the weekend's mouthwatering El Clasico against Real Madrid.
And Xavi was effusive in his praise of the 26-year-old.
"Raphinha gives us intensity, pace, goals, assists, deep dives, defensive work. He's a very complete footballer and I like him a lot," said the Catalans boss.
The Spanish tactician then expressed his excitement over prospect Vitor Roque, whom he hopes will complete his switch to the Nou Camp in January. Roque, already capped by Brazil and just 18 years of age, is currently plying his trade with Athletico Paranaense.
Ive spoken to Vitor, were on good terms. I think hes a very prepared player, very mature, mentally strong, and hopefully he can arrive in January, concluded Xavi.
