The South Africans stormed into the World Cup final after beating Australia by five wickets in the semi-final, and have reached their maiden championship decider, after being knocked out at the Super 6 stage at the inaugural edition in 2023.
Set to come up against defending champions India in Sunday's final in Kuala Lumpur at 08h30, Reyneke is yet to fully process their success, but says the camp is buzzing ahead of the clash.
"It's crazy! I said yesterday in my interview, words can't describe the feeling. It's something quite special for us as a unit, but we are so excited to get going and the vibe in the camp is just really good," said Reyneke.
Having gone through the entire competition unbeaten so far, the junior women have experienced many a highs, but the skipper admitted she cannot single out one particular occasion so far.
"There's not a specific moment, but it's just the celebration in each game, when we take a wicket and when we're on that field – just the feeling singing your national anthem, the goosebumps that you get," she added.
As they prepare for the biggest match of their careers so far, the Western Province women's all-rounder has vowed to continue with their never-say-die attitude and represent the nation with pride and passion in the finale.
"We never go down without a fight, it's not something new, but it's something that's been sticking with us as a unit, we will fight every ball until the last ball.
"And we play for each other, but not only for each other, but we play for the people back home, and we wear our hearts on our sleeves," Reyneke concluded.
