Amakhosi suffered back-to-back defeats in friendlies against Tanzanian giants Young Africans as well as Township Rollers from Botswana – resulting in a meltdown from fans criticising new coach Molefi Ntseki.
Frosler insists preparation matches are meant to iron out mistakes.
"I don't think the result is a major thing. Results must come next week onwards. Pre-season games are to find combinations and for me to understand my teammates, and for my teammates to understand me. Not winning the games is obviously not the best thing, but it's about the combinations we're trying to figure out," Frosler argued.
Chiefs made seven signings and are open to adding more before the window closes at the end of the month. This is why Frosler believes the games played in the build-up to their DStv Premiership opener against Chippa United on Sunday have not been a disaster.
"A lot of new players coming in as well, it doesn't make it easy in terms of adapting. But the guys are willing to learn and willing to understand each other and figure out what my teammates' strengths are. "
With this being his fourth season with Chiefs, the right-back understands what is expected of the Glamour Boys, especially given the lack of silverware since 2015.
Last month, SABC Sport reported Frosler had an offer from Romania declined, where he might have continued to play alongside centre-back Siyabonga Ngezana at FCSB. The 25-year-old says he is happy to stay at Chiefs.
Fully focused on season ahead
"I'm happy with the decision that was made, and my focus is fully on Chiefs now and fully focused on the season ahead. I don't think it's ever easy going into a different country. We've seen players come to South Africa and struggle.
"So, it's definitely not easy, but I know Siya is mentally strong and he'll overcome whatever challenge is facing at the moment. And possibly very soon he might be back where we know him to be."
