Following their recent trip from Australia, the SPAR Proteas will be getting ready to jet off to England to face the Vitality Roses in a three-test series.
This will be the third time these two nations meet, having squared off in January during the Quad Series, where they drew once before England won the play-off match.
The two teams did not meet during the recent 2023 Netball World Cup held in Cape Town, South Africa.
England have all the bragging rights with an unbeaten record against South Africa this year.
The Proteas will get assemble on Friday, 24 November before flying out to England on Monday 27 November 2023.
“It is very important for us to play teams that are ranked above us because this will serve two great purposes – one being that we can gauge how far or close we are to being one of the best and, secondly, we can work our way to improving our points on the table and push our way into the top four," commented Netball SA president Cecilia Molokwane.
"The more we get our players international exposure and experience the better, this will be sure to sharpen them and make more competitive."
The two nations will play three test matches between the 5th, 9th, and 10th of December 2023 with the first match being played in Manchester and the last two in Nottingham.
The SPAR Proteas will face Scotland in a practice match on 3 December before the series against the Roses commences.
