Bok captain Siya Kolisi visits war cry heroes at Wynberg High School

Double World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi visited Wynberg High School in Cape Town this week to thank them for their support.

There is no rest for Kolisi. He understands the assignment: maximum inspiration.

Fresh off attending the Springbok Women's WX2 match in Cape Town last week, he is now in the southern suburbs visiting Wynberg High School. The school has put itself on the map with several viral videos of their war cries, which have amassed close to 100 million views.

One of the war cries - led by 17-year-old Leighton Morton - was tailored for the Boks ahead of their clash against the All Blacks in Cape Town last month.

Kolisi surprised the boys with a visit to the school grounds on Monday.

"We watched your guys' video and we honestly loved it so much, it encouraged us a lot," said the 33-year-old.

"I wish we could play in front of a vibe like this. I just want to encourage you guys, too. Work hard at school and at sport. Work as hard as you can, believe in yourself.

"It's possible, anything is possible. You can achieve any dream that you want."

Never one to shy away from singing, Kolisi joined in for one chant with the boys.
