Kolbe, has been one of the most consistent players in the team, speaking to SABC Sport in Umhlanga on Wednesday - he hailed the positive attitude of the squad, for always striving to win each and every match at their disposal.

''One thing about South Africa we like being underdogs and we like playing under pressure. For us it is not just about the individual, it is about the Boks as a collective,'' said Kolbe.

The former Stormers' skillful star, currently based in Japan reflected on his performances, which has seen him become one of the most feared wingers in the world. He spoke about the lessons learned through travelling the world.

Herschel Jantjies has become another local player to leave Stomers to join Bayonne from France. Chelsin expressed excitement about the move and his confidence that his teammate will adapt to the new home. He also believes it was a huge loss for the South African league.

''It reminds me of the time when I first played abroad. In life everything does go according to plan when you put yourself out.  He will definitely add value and experience at Bayonne,'' added Kolbe.

With more players moving abroad, Kolbe says that shows the quality of the South Africans. As much as it is a huge loss for domestic, he appreciates local teams for allowing players to move away from home to boost more chances for Springboks in international competitions.

''Playing abroad impacts the national team. We see a lot of input coming to the Springboks, and it helps us to be a few steps ahead,'' he expressed.

The Investec Challenge Cup begins in December, Chelsin expects a very tough tournament this season as most teams will be looking at stopping The Sharks from defending their title. He further says it gives opportunities to players to shine like Pieter-Steph Du Toit, who has won the World Rugby Player of the Season.
