Monaco to host star-studded 2024 World Rugby Awards ceremony in November

World Rugby have confirmed that the 2024 World Rugby Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 24.

The governing body has also revealed the 14 award categories that will presented on the night, celebrating the sport's most outstanding personalities, as well as the voting panels that will decide the nominees and winners.

The iconic Salle des Etoiles will host the event in Monaco.

Hosted under the High Patronage of H.S.H Princess Charlene of Monaco, the star-studded evening coincides with the end of the international rugby season.

This year's edition also marks the fourth occasion that Monaco has hosted the World Rugby Awards, cementing the Principality's place as the home of rugby's greatest honours.

In total, 14 award categories will be presented on the night, recognising on-field achievements of the calendar year.

The nominees in each category are voted by specialist panels which feature rugby legends and World Rugby Hall of Fame inductees.

World Rugby Chief Executive Alan Gilpin said: "We are delighted to return to Monaco, an iconic location associated with some of the most prestigious sporting events on the planet, to celebrate the World Rugby Awards 2024 after an incredible calendar year of international rugby.

"Following a year that saw an epic conclusion of the HSBC SVNS in Madrid, record-breaking Olympic Games in Paris and action-packed international windows, the Awards will look back and honour those who made a great contribution to the advancement of our game through their talent, personalities and passion."
