The trio of Cheslin Kolbe, Eben Etzebeth, and Pieter-Steph du Toit dominate the Men's 15s Player of the Years nominees, alongside Ireland's number eight Caelan Doris.
Kolbe, Etzebeth, and du Toit – who won the award in 2019 – were all instrumental in the Boks' successful defence of their Rugby World Cup crown in France last year, and have continued their stellar form through 2024 as the team emphatically clinched the Rugby Championship title.
Etzebeth, who is now the most-capped Springbok ever, was also nominated in the same category last year, but missed out to All Blacks forward Ardie Savea.
Meanwhile, newcomer Sacha Feinburg-Mngomezulu burst onto the scene and quickly attained rising star status during the Rugby Championship, with the 22-year-old showing his prowess in the Boks fly-half position, earning him a nomination in the Men's 15s Breakthrough Player of the Year category.
SFM is up against 22-year-old New Zealand eighthman Wallace Sititi, 21-year-old England wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, and Ireland's 23-year-old Jamie Osborne, who made his debut in South Africa earlier this year.
