Bayern Munich unlikely to sign Chelsea's Mason Mount due to financial constraints

Bayern will face competition from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Juventus for Mount. The Blues are hoping to get £50 million for Mount in the summer, despite his contract expiring at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Furthermore, Bayern already have an ample amount of depth in the number eight and ten roles. Unless there is a big departure in this area during the summer window, signing Mount will not make sense for the record Bundesliga champions.

Bayern have already strengthened their midfield department for next season by reportedly completing a deal for Konrad Laimer, who will join on a free transfer once his contract at RB Leipzig expires in June. Tuchel will also have the decision to make on Marcel Sabitzer when he returns from his loan spell at Manchester United.
