Magesi v Cape Town City
Magesi will be gunning for just their second win of the Betway Premiership season against Cape Town City at the Seshego Stadium on Saturday.
The top-flight newbies made a significant impact in their first season in the top-flight by winning the Carling Knockout Cup, but have struggled for results in the league and sit rock-bottom after 14 games,
Clinton Larsen departed after their cup win, and Owen da Gama has since been unable to engineer a win, with their last game a 4-1 humbling by Chippa United.
They were also eliminated from the Nedbank Cup by SuperSport United.
Muhsin Ertugral's rein at Cape Town City started with victories over both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates but they have since lost two, drawn one and won one, but were also dumped out of the Nedbank Cup by Sekhukhune United.
They sit in seventh place on the standings with 21 points.
Richards Bay v Polokwane City
Richards Bay, in 14th place, take on high-flying Polokwane City, who have been exceptional in the Betway Premiership this season.
In third place with 29 points, Rise and Shine are 16 points better off than their oppoents this weekend, who have managed just three wins this season, but who overcame Marumo Gallants 2-1 in their last league encounter, as City were held to a goalless draw with TS Galaxy.
TS Galaxy v Chippa United
TS Galaxy are on a 10 match unbeaten run but are still down in 10th place with 19 points, having recorded a large number of draws.
Their stalemate with Polokwane City in their last encounter was the club's seventh draw this campaign, while Chippa, down in 11th, have just one point less than Galaxy. They progressed in the Nedbank Cup by seeing off Golden Arrows, and went down to Polokwane City in the league before overcoming Magesi.
Galaxy thrashed Vasco da Gama 7-0 in the cup ahead of downing Cape Town City 2-0 and their most recent one-pointer.
Sekhukhune United v SuperSport United
Sekhukhune United and have both struggled for consistency this season. While they made their way into the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup with wins over Cape Town City and Magesi, both teams lost their most recent league games, to Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, respectively.
But while Babina Noko are in a far healthier fifth place with 24 points, Matsatsantsa are down in 12th place with 16 points collected so far.
