Man Utd's Marcus Rashford draws loan interest from West Ham

West Ham United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Marcus Rashford’s situation at Manchester United.

The 27-year-old forward is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford after being dropped by head coach Ruben Amorim and has expressed a desire to seek a new challenge.

Manchester United are open to offers for Rashford, although they acknowledge that a loan deal is the most realistic option this month.

The England international, who earns over 300,000 pounds per week, has not featured in the Premier League since 7 December but has scored seven goals in 24 appearances this season.

West Ham are considering the possibility of a loan move for Rashford, though they recognise that he may prefer a transfer to a top European side.

Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, and Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs linked with the player.

If Rashford joins West Ham, he would follow in the footsteps of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who moved to the Hammers last summer and has become a key figure, starting 18 of his 20 Premier League matches.

Jesse Lingard also enjoyed a successful loan spell at West Ham in the 2020/21 season, contributing nine goals and four assists in 16 appearances.
