Mmowa Kekana disappointed over defeat to TS Galaxy

First Touch Ladies FC coach Mmowa Kekana says it is unfortunate to have suffered their first defeat of the 2025 Hollywoodbets Super League campaign.

Dikgoshigadi Tsa Limpopo, who drew 0-0 against TUT Matsatsantsa in their season opener at Lucas Moripe Stadium on 9 March, succumbed to a  2-0 defeat to TS Galaxy in their second match of the season at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to SABC Sport, Kekana says they will go back to the drawing board and rectify their mistakes ahead of the next fixture.

"First defeat in the season is not good. I am disappointed that we failed to secure a win at home, but right now it is all about going back to the drawing board and analysing the game to make sure that we rectify our mistakes," said Kekana.

The Limpopo outfit signed a total of eleven new players to bolster their squad as they target a top-four finish this season.

Kekana says it has been a pleasure to welcome the new recruits and hopes they will play their part in helping the team perform better than last season.

“We have been very intentional this season, starting the year with new signings. I trust they will show dedication to help the team finish in the top four," added Kekana.

While they await details regarding the confirmation of their next fixture, Kekana says the team will focus on training and preparing to make sure they are ready for any possible opponent.

"The matches have been postponed, we now await details regarding our next fixture. But on our side we continue with preparations. We want maximum points in the [next] match," he concluded.
