Mohammed Kudus boosts Black Stars' AFCON qualifying campaign

Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus has joined the Black Stars' camp ahead of their critical 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

The West Ham United star's arrival is seen as a major boost for the squad, which is gearing up for these crucial matches.

Kudus is expected to take part in Tuesdayâ™s training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

On Monday, only ten players were present for the first training session, including Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, and Antoine Semenyo.

The squad's early preparation is essential as they face Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on September 5, before heading to Niger for their first away fixture of the qualifiers.

Coach Otto Addo and his team are focused on securing a spot in the next AFCON tournament in Morocco.

The addition of Kudus, who has been in stellar form for West Ham, offers a promising edge as the Black Stars embark on this vital qualifying journey.
