The Brave Warriors are yet to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations while Bafana have already secured their place at the finals in the Ivory Coast next year.
Both sides are also preparing for their World Cup qualifiers and will use this game as part of their preparations.
South Africa head into the tie at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday as favourites to claim all three points but Benjamin is looking for an unlikely upset.
The head coach said in the Namibian: "There's always something in the air when it's Namibia versus South Africa.
"We want to upset the big brother. We're delighted that we're going to have a game of this magnitude, with South Africa bringing their strongest possible squad."
