The five-time champions lost 4-2 to Croatia on penalties in the quarterfinals in Qatar on Friday, after the match ended 1-1.
The 30-year old, who didn’t get to take a spot kick in that match, told his 193 followers on instagram he was still battling.

Brazilian legend Pele had encouraging words for Neymar, and hopes to see him on the field again representing their country.
“You know that no number is greater than the joy of representing our country. I'm 82 years old, and after all this time, I hope I've inspired you in some way to get this far. Your legacy is far from over. Keep inspiring us. I will continue punching the air with happiness with every goal you score” Pele commented on Neymar’s post.
Pele was hospitalised earlier this month for colon cancer treatment. He celebrated Neymar for equalling his record of 77 international goals.
"My record was set almost 50 years ago, and no one has been able to get close to it until now. You made it, my boy. That adds to the greatness of your achievement, “he beamed with pride.
Brazil must wait another four years for a chance to win a sixth World Cup, which they last won in 2002.
