Majiya joined Sundowns from the Northern Cape side, Richmond United and has already scored three goals in two games.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Majiya is certain of clinching her first league title this season.
"Sundowns will for sure protect [sic] the Hollywoodbets Super League because we are a good team and we will defend it, surely, with all our heart and hard work that we put in," said Majiya.
The Hollywoodbets Super League Young Player of the Season for both the 2021 and 2022 seasons is currently the league's joint-top goal scorer alongside teammate Boitumelo Rabale and UWC's Philisa Mjambane – all with three strikes from two matches.
However, Majiya refuses to accept all the credit for her performances since arriving at Chloorkop.
"It's a good thing being the top goal scorer because we put in hard work as a team, so when one scores, it's all for the team. So, for me, I feel just normal," she added.
"Because I don't score for me, I score for the team, I score for my fans, I score my family, and my team to win at the end of the day."
Last season Sundowns Ladies also claimed the CAF Women’s Champions League title for a second time in three seasons, and Majiya gives credit to coach Jerry Tshabalala for guiding the team with aplomb.
"To work with coach Jerry is a wonderful experience because he's a good coach, he's experienced, he knows what to do and he knows his job, so it's wonderful working with him," she concluded.
