Devin Titus gave the home side the lead within the first minute, cleverly guiding a header away from goalkeeper Ismail Watenga.
Stellies had to wait until the 69th minute to double their advantage but then the third goal came within two minutes to kill off the contest.
Anicet Oura first found the back of the net before the PSL's leading goal-scorer this season, Iqraam Rayners, sealed the three points for the hosts who solidified second spot in the standings.
Matsatsantsa back to winning ways against Royal AM
SuperSport United were back to winning ways on the DStv Premiership after a 1-0 victory over Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
Gavin Hunt's charges had gone six games without a victory but Bradley Grobler came off the bench to snatch a late winner against the embattled hosts.
Royal AM now slumped to 14th in the league standings, only six clear of Richards Bay who sit in the relegation play-off position.
Matsatsantsa, meanwhile, stopped their downward slide and moved up to fifth in the standings, one point behind Sekhukhune United.
Swallows boost survival hopes with win over Chippa
Moroka Swallows showcased resilience in a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Chippa United in the DStv Premiership clash at the Buffalo City Municipality Stadium.
Despite Chippa taking an early lead, they faltered, allowing Swallows to snatch the crucial points.
Chippa's Kayden Francis broke the deadlock in the 17th minute, setting a promising tone for the Chilli Boys. The first half was marked by intense exchanges as both teams vied for control, with Swallows trailing at halftime.
The second half witnessed a spirited comeback orchestrated by Gabadinho Mhango, who spurred Swallows with relentless attacks and sustained possession. Mhango's equaliser in the 71st minute shifted the momentum in Swallows' favour.
Lwanda Mbanjwa's decisive strike in stoppage-time sealed the win for Swallows, leaving Chippa unable to mount a recovery before the final whistle.
Mhango's standout performance earned him the DStv Premiership Man of the Match accolade.
The triumph provides Swallows with crucial breathing space in their bid to avoid relegation. Meanwhile, Chippa United will shift their focus to the Nedbank Cup, where they face a formidable challenge against in-form opponents Orlando Pirates.
