Moremi played for the first time for the Bedfordview outfit over the weekend, when they secured a hard-fought 3-2 win against newcomers Ezemvelo FC, under the new coach Janine van Wyk.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Moremi adds that they are building on gelling as a team and learning more about each other on and off the field.
"As a new player at JVW obviously I had to adjust to the system, to my teammates to learn more about them so that we can gel together as a team. So, that's what we also building on. Understanding each other and doing well as a team," Moremi said.
Janine van Wyk’s charges move onto the second match in their league campaign, looking to maintain their winning momentum against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.
Moremi says they are aware that the next clash will be tough against Sundowns but they look to build from their win against Ezemvelo.
"Obviously, the next game it's very difficult, we are playing the best in the league. So, from here we can only build on today's performance. We had a lot of positives, I mean we scored three goals. We need to rectify on the goals that we conceded so we will be going back to the drawing board and fixing those,” she added.
The 28-year-old shares why she enjoys the leadership of coach Janine van Wyk.
"So, with coach Janine, she's very experienced and we're learning more from her. We're getting more information the more we go. So, I'm very excited to be under her. She's a very patient coach, she cares about her team as a whole and we believe in her vision."
