Real Betis boosted by returning stars ahead of Leganes clash

Real Betis fans have reason to cheer ahead of their La Liga fixture against Leganes, with positive updates from the team's final training session before Friday's match.

Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and Brazilian forward Vitor Roque were both seen training with the squad at the Benito Villamarín stadium.

This session, which began at 10h30 a.m. behind closed doors, was a significant boost for the Verdiblancos.

Lo Celso and Roque, who had been unavailable due to international duties, finally rejoined their teammates. Roque, who arrived in Seville just yesterday, had been working alone in the gym at the Ciudad Deportiva.

Lo Celso, having returned from international commitments late on Tuesday, was warmly welcomed by his new teammates with the traditional guard of honour upon his arrival.

However, not all news was positive.

Midfielder Johnny Cardoso, who also played for the United States in the early hours of Wednesday, missed the session. He, along with Marc Bartra, who is dealing with minor issues, and Juanmi, who sustained a heavy knock recently, did not participate in the training.

Their availability for the match against Leganes remains uncertain.

The key question now is whether Manuel Pellegrini will include Lo Celso, Roque, and Cardoso in the squad or even in the starting eleven.

Additionally, young talents Jesus Rodriguez, Lucas Alcazar, and Nobel Mendy, who have been training regularly with the first team, will continue to be part of the squad's dynamic as they prepare for Friday's game.
