Springbok front-rower Ntuthuko Mchunu has agreed to a contract extension with the Sharks.
The Durban-based team revealed on Monday that the 24-year-old loosehead prop has signed a new two-year deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025 season.
Mchunu, who stands at 1.88m and weighs 114kg, is known for his athleticism and impact in general play.
He initially played as a loose forward for his school, Maritzburg College, before moving to the front row.
He made his Test debut for South Africa against Wales last year - his only appearance in Springbok colours to date.
The Sharks also announced that versatile back Marnus Potgieter has extended his contract with the franchise for another three years.
The centre or wing's new deal follows recent contract renewals for flyhalf Curwin Bosch and loose forward Phepsi Buthelezi.
