The Motherwell-born midfielder, who has also become a regular feature for Bafana Bafana, is now in his second season at the Chilli Boys.
Speaking after their 3-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup last 16 match on Saturday, September says Kwayiba deserves to play for a big club.
"Ja, you want players to move on. What's your budget? So you want players to move on. If I want Sinoxolo to stay in the Eastern Cape, I would be selfish, I wouldn't want the best for the player.
"The best for him is to play for the big teams, the best for him is to play in CAF, the best for him and the national team is to be in those games, so yes, I do want the best for him."
Kwayiba has managed five goals and one assist in 17 matches in all competitions this season, having contributed four goals in 15 games last season.
September, who started his career at Bush Bucks in the Eastern Cape before moving to SuperSport United, knows what good performances can do for players’ career.
"It's good for him to stay level headed. To move to those bigger teams, you have to perform and I think he did well today, so it's just to keep him grounded and help him," he added.
"Because if he's not performing, or if he's not fit, or if he's injured and all of those things, they play a factor, so we try to manage him just like with the rest of the squad, but hopefully he gets bought."
